Copyright) (Received August 30, 3.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 30 Damage estimated at £150,000 was caused by a spectacular fire which destroyed the wool combing works of the Whiddom Proprietary, Limited, in the suburb of Mascot. Twenty-five employees who were working in the mills had to run for their lives. Some were slightly burned. At the height of the blaze a tank containing 5000 gallons of fuel oil blew up with a great explosion.
