OBITUARY

MR P. C. GOWER The death occurred yesterday of Mr Percy Clayton Gower. Born in Tasmania in 1886, Mr Gower was one of a family of 16. He came to New Zealand in 1904, coming to Hamilton and joining the staff of the Hamilton Borough Council, for whom he was still working at the time of his sudden death. Mr Gower was a member of the Municipal Band and the Foresters’ Lodge. He also took a keen interest in the activities of the St. John’s Methodist Church, Hamilton East, being society steward. He is survived by his wife and one There are two grandchildren.
