BONUS ANNOUNCED NO CHANGE IN PRICE (By TpJpsrranTv—Press Association) WELLINGTON. Wednesday ! In an announcement today, the Minister of Marketing, the Hon. D. G. Barclay, states that the price to be paid to lemon growers for the new season would be on the same basis as during last season. This was 7s for sufficient fruit which, when cured, will pack a bushel case. Mr Barclay added that a bonus would be paid of 6d a cured bushel on last season’s fruit. At the end of the new season consideration would be given to the payment of a similar bonus on the 1941 crop, if the financial position permitted.
