Beige is still on the up-swing and is used for a frock with a corselet waistline and white accessories.
A glittering evening bag is made of white chenille and red velvet.
Team grey and white together for an end-of-the-summer frock and have it made with a little matching jacket. Radio blue, a new brilliant colour, forms the felt foundation for a feathered toque.
In the new seven-eighths length is a pearl-grey coat of kid, lovely over almost any colour. Hartnell uses green sequins and kid embroidery on the pockets of a black wool dress.
Accent will be on yokes this winter —for a change try a ruched effect to outline the shoulder yoke of a scarlet wool shirt dress.
Coloured wooden beads are twisted to make the chunky necklace perfect for wearing with sweaters and tweeds in early autumn.
For dining wear a chou of satin ribbons tied round the head and secure with a diamond clip.
Transform a dull dress with r two big pockets made from candy-strip-ped ribbon. Schiaparelli highlights a navy blue broadcloth suit with black velvet pockets and tab collar buttoned with enamelled maps of the world.
This winter have a furless top-coat. For variety use velvet for trimming.
