DEMAND AT CLAUDELANDS In the presence of a very large bench of buyers, a very successful sale of pedigree pigs was conducted in the pig pavilion at Claudelands Showgrounds today by Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Company, Limited. Competition was fairly keen throughout. For a sow from Messrs Miers Bros., Rototuna, 10 guineas was paid, while boars offered on account of Messrs J. and J. Robinson, Te Kowhai, made 93. and 8£ guineas.
