WEDDING

B LUCK—LANG BRIDE IN. IVORY SATIN A wedding of wide interest was celebrated at St. Bride’s Church, Otorohanga, recently, when Kathleen Mary, only daughter of Mr and Mrs A. W. Lang, of Otorohanga, was mar- ' ried to Charles William, elder son of Mr and Mrs W. B. Bluck. of Otorohanga. The Rev. E. A. Addis officiated at the ceremony and Miss D. ; Webster played the organ, i The bride wore a graceful frock ' of ivory satin, with a high camel neckline and a gored skirt falling into a full train. Her long tulle veil was worn with a halo of orange blos- ' som, and she carried a bouquet of lilies and white roses. ; In attendance as bridesmaids were : Misses F. Holmes, T. Thomasen, O. Hotson and D. Bluck, sister of the bridegroom. They wore frocks of blue metal-run taffeta and carried posies of pink carnations. Little Jean Dempsy was flower girl, wearing a dainty frock of cream satin, with poke bonnet, and Peter Trapski was page boy, in cream satin. ; The bridegroom was attended by I Aircraftsman N. Bluck and Mr D. | Lang. I The reception was held in the j Town Hall annex, where Mrs Lang | received her guests in a navy frock and hat worn with matching accessories. The bridegroom’s mother i was frocked in floral crepe-de-chine worn with a navy coat and hat. Mr and Mrs C. Bluck will make their home in Otorohanga.
