WILFUL DAMAGE At the Otorohanga Police Court, Rupe-na Tukahui was charged with mischler and wilfully damaging windows, valued at £3, at the local bowling club’s greens. He was convicted and ordered to pay for the damage done. RIDER INJURED While Mr J. Nihill, of Otorohanga, was training a horse over renews for show prospects ahead, the animal. In baulking at a fence, threw him heavily, rendering him unconscious from Monday evening to Wednesday morning. BOWLING TROPHIES Playing for the King Country and 'Midland Cups, Te Kuiti defeated Otorohanga (holders) by an aggregate of points, 1., to 113. The result of the junior pairs was in doubt until the 2 Ist head, when Te Kuiti gained a single point. The final scores were T« Kuiti 16, Otorohanga 15. KIWIS WINS CRICKET Kiwis cricket team scored a tliree-point win over Olorohanga arter being decisively beaten In the first innings by 68 to 37. In the second innings Kiwis compiled 106 for six wickets in reply to Otorohanga’s total of 72.
