STRIKE SETTLED
TRAMWAY EMPLOYEES NEW AWARD ACCEPTED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright; (Received Dec. 24, 3.15 p.m.) ADELAIDE, Dec. 24 The tramway strike at Adelaide has ended, the employees accepting the new award of 44 hours a week and a daily eight-hour shift, in place of the 88 hours a fortnight.
