DEATH OF HUSBAND WELLINGTON, Thursday A verdict for £2250 general damages and £33 19s special damages, was awarded by a jury in the Supreme Court action in which Grace Young Wilson Duncan claimed £3OOO in respect of the death of her husband, William Alexander Dickie Anderson Duncan, aged 43. electrical engineer and caretaker employed by the Internal Affairs Department at the Dominion Museum and War Memorial Carillon. Defendants were Arthur Harris Wakeford, butcher, Wellington, and Keith Allen Morris, taxi driver, Masterton. Duncan was a passenger in Wakeford’s car when a collision occurred at Silverstream on July 7.
