Copyright) LONDON, Oct. 20 The Premier of Thailand, Luang Bipal Songgram, in a broadcast from Bangkok, indicated that the French commission would not be acceptable unless it was authorised to negotiate for the return of the Luang Prabang and Pakse territories and also to adjust the Mekong border. “We are determined to get back our lost territory.” the Premier said. “Every effort will be made without resorting to force, but. if force is inevitable, war will be waged with the minimum of bloodshed.” A thousand farmers demonstrated at the Ministry of Defence, favouring armed action if the French refuse to return the territories.
