SEVERAL ITALIAN TOWNS ROYAL AIR FORCE SUCCESS (United Press Asn.—Elec. T*l. Copyright) (Received Oct. 22, 11 a.m.) ROME, Oct. 21 A communique admits that the Royal Air Force bombed Verona, Savona, Pavia and Alessandria. A number of persons was killed or wounded. Swiss reports indicate that British raids on Northern Italy last night were extensive.
The attack on the Channel ports was one of the fiercest yet made.
