DANCE AT TE RORE
A most enjoyable dance organI ised by the social club was held in j the Te Rore Hall, when there was a good attendance from surrounding districts. Music was supplied by | Clayton's Orchestra, and an extra I was played by Miss Shirley Bell. A [novelty dance was won by Miss Tess Brennan and Mr R. Bridson. Mr Harold Allcock acted as master of ceremonies. Among those present were:—Mesdames A. Donald (Auckland), black crepe; J. Burrows (Ohaupo), violet satin; P. Burrows (Ohaupo), [white lace; J. Graife (Auckland), sky [blue georgette; Ivy Sifleet, lavender i taffeta; Ellie Naughten (Pirongia), [floral georgette; Margaret Burns (Te Awamutu), navy and white taffeta; ■ Bonnie Forkert, (Ohaupo), black [lace; Lorna Duncan, buttercup gold taffeta; Iris Hancock (Paterangi). I green floral satin; Maurine Shaw (Ohaupo), black floral sheer; Laurna Hancock (Paterangi), mauve embossed cloque; Pearl Forkert (Ohaupo), black taffeta; Jackson (Pirongia), cream satin; Lily Silvert (Paterangi), mauve velvet; Shirley Bell (Pirongia), striped taffeta; Mona Sims (Pirongia), cocktail suit; Rene Hancock (Paterangi), cyclamen crepe; Lily Owen (Pirongia), navy taffeta; Rudkin (Ohaupo), cyclamen taffeta.
