TE AROHA SHOW

APPOINTMENT OF JUDGES (Special to Times) TE AROHA, Monday Mr W. S. Goosman, M.P. for Waikato, is to a*ked to open the show to be conducted by th** T<* Aroha Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Association oil November 23, according to a derision reached at a meeting of the executive. It was dpcided to make a donation to the Te Aroha branch of the Plunket Society in recognition of services rendered at the show. Mr G. D. Hall. Kin Kfo. and Mr C. M. Anderson, Te Awamutu, were appointed senior and Junior judges respectively of the Shorthorn cattle section. Thp secretary was instructed to write to the Ayrshire Breeders’ Association asking ir it would present a trophy for competition in that section. A letter of appreciation is to be sent to Mr J. A. Clothier, who has donated another cup to be competed for in the sh'irthorn breeders’ class. The rup previously donated by Mr Clothier was won outright last year. Mr R. Empson was elected a member of the association and resignations on account or ill health were regretfully accepted from Mr 11. L. Mills and Mr A. E. Stuck. ROAD CYCLING EVENT last Saturday the Te Aroha Cycling Club held its weekly road race to Tatuamii and bark, a distance of 1•» miles There wa* a fairly large Held. Me-ulfs were as follows:—W.
