HANDLING OF OUR JEAN Following the running of the Plumpton Handicap on the second day of the Avondale Jockey Club’s spring meeting yesterday the judicial committee held an inquiry into the running of Our Jean, who finished second. The committee was of the opinion that the rider, K. W. McTavish, made an error of judgment in not improving his position between the six-furlong post and the turn, and administered a caution.
