MILITARY RESERVE
MORRINSVILLE CLASS II (Special to Times) MORRINSVII jLE , Thursday. A well-attended meeting or Glass II Military Reserve, consisting mostly or ex servicemen, was held In the Scout Hall, -Morrinsville, on Tuesday night. Mr E. Hitehman. president or the Morrinsville Returned Soldiers’ Association, presided. correspondence between the Morrinsville Returned Soldiers’ Association and Dominion headquarters was read by the secretary. Mr J. \Y. Thompson. It win resolved that an offer or service on behalf or Glass II be made to the Minister of Defence, with a request that members be allowed to commence training, and that a copv of the letter be sent to the Minister of Man-power. A committc*e, consisting or Messrs C. R. Easther. A. \v. Gordon. H. Blennerlia-sett. R. O. sweet and !.. R. Harris, was ap pointed t-» make arrangements after receipt of replies from the Minister. it was mentioned that sufficient arms was at the Drill Hall, Morrinsville, for the purposes of training.
