Mr C. A. Barrell, M.P. for Hamilton, has returned from Wellington. Mr H. D. Caro, Mayor of Hamilton, visited Auckland yesterday.

Mr A. J. Murdoch, a member of the New Zealand Dairy Board, is visiting Hamilton.

Messrs H. E. Worsp, chairman oi directors of the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company, Limited, and A G. Brown, general manager of the company, are visiting Hamilton.

Messrs W. Goodfellow, managing director of Amalgamated Dairies, Limited, and L. F. Hames, secretary, are visiting Hamilton for the annual meeting of the New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Company, Limited.

Mr G. J. Dozy, vice-Coftsul for Rumania in Holland, who is living in Latavia for the duration of the war, is visiting New Zealand on holiday. His uncle, Mr C. Dozy, is ConsulGeneral for the Netherlands in Rumania.

Mr E. Caradus, Director of Education Services of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, Flight-Lieutenant A. C. McArthur, and Pilot Officer R. Porter, member of the air crew selection committee of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, left to-day for Te Kuiti, after having conducted a sitting in Hamilton this week.

Messrs C. Hands (Waihi), J. B. Parker, J. N. Nome, J. Dean (Pokeno), A. Wyllie, S. P. Caie (Waitakaruru), P. H. Saxton (Rangiriri), J. W. Boyes (Silverdale), P. Wilson, K. Richardson (Hunua), W. H. Allen (Tirau), C. Peach (Maramarua), H. B. Ward (Auckland), O. H. Coleman (Rotorua) and E. G. Dobson (Palmerston North) are at the Hamilton Hotel.

Mr H. D. Robinson, manager of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, has retired on superannuation after 43 years’ service. He has been succeeded by Mr M. B. Igjjulden, formerly manager for the colnpany at Hamilton, whose place has been taken by Mr R. H. Stewart, for some years merchandise manager at Auckland, and formerly merchandise manager at Hamilton.
