DEMAND ON GREECE
MESSAGE FROM DICTATORS RENUNCIATION OF GUARANTEE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, August 14 The Italian and German Ministers at Athens are reported to have sent a message to the Greek Prime Minister, General Metaxas, suggesting that Greece should formally renounce Britain’s guarantee of Greek independence and territorial integrity. High diplomatic quarters say that General Metaxas has rejected the suggestion.
