THREATS TO GREECE

PLAN OF MUSSOLINI MURDER OF FASCIST

(United Press Assn.—- Elec. Tel. Copyright) ROME, August 13 The Italian spokesman accused Greece of having territorial designs on Albania, and indicated that Mussolini will, sooner or later, demand parts of Greek and Yugoslav territory for Albania in a general settlement. The Popolo di Roma reports that an Albanian Fascist, Leonardo Ciurcovich, was murdered in Italian Dalmatia. Importance is attached to the-mur-der because of the long-standing Italian campaign to separate Dalmatia from Yugoslavia. Signor Gayda said Italy expected Greece to answer for its new crimes, and declared that Italy will not tolerate Greece’s acts against the independence of Albania. He added that Greece has long been a silent ally and agitator for the democracies. From the first day of the war Greece has conducted corrosive action on the Albanian front and has offered aid by the use of its territory for the British, of whom Greece is a more open accomplice daily.
