REFUGE UNDER PLOUGH
BULL ATTACKS YOUTH (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) PALMERSTON N., Tuesday When Wilfred Hunt, aged 19 years, son of Mr H. W. Hunt, of Fitzherbert West, was attacked by a bull he took refuge beneath a plough, but it did not provide sufficient cover to ward off the infuriated animal. The youth called for .help, but those at the homestead did not hear him. Several dogs, however, distracted tfyp attention of the bull sufficiently to allow the young man to escape. He was able to make his way to the homestead, where he collapsed. He was taken to the hospital, where an operation was performed. He had received injuries to his back and chest.
