EXPORTS FOR YEAR HIGH VALUE IN JUNE DROP SHOWN IN IMPORTS The highest value for any of the past 10 productions was reached by New Zealand commodity exports for the year ended June 30. They were valued at £65,859,000, an increase of £7,968,000 over the previous year. Imports, at £46,070,000, were £10,430,000 lower in value than in 1938-39, being in fact the lowest since the year ended June 30, 1936. The visible balance, £19,789,000, has been exceeded in the past 10 years only by the total of £22,439,000 recorded at the end of June, 1934.
