REFEREES’ DISPUTE
VOLUNTEERS AVAILABLE (By Telegraph.—Special to Times) PALMERSTON N. f Saturday Though the dispute between the Manawatu Rugby Union and the Manawatu Referees’ Association is still unsettled, it was reported at a meeting of the union that there were plenty of volunteers offering to take charge of the matches. The chairman, Mr A. M. Ongley, said the % union was now in a position where it had to make a selection.
