TASK OF TRIBUNAL PRELIMINARY MEETING (By Telegrapn.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Monday A preliminary meeting of the Aliens Tribunal was held today after the arrival of the chairman, Mr Justice Callan, from Auckland. It has the duty of inquiring into the bona tides of all enemy aliens and advising the Minister of Justice which should be interned and what conditions should be imposed. Sittings in the various centres are expected to occupy some months.
