TAUPIRI YOUTH I\ HOSPITAL INJURIES TO EYES Burns to his eyes, necessitating his removal to the Waikato Hospital, were suffered by a chemist's apprentice. Frederick Fowler, aged 17, ol Taupiri. The accident occurred yae* terdav. when the youth was exp art* menting with some chemicals, which exploded. He was taken to the Waikato Hospital by a fellow boarder, Mr W Egan. The extent of his injuries has not yet been ascertained.
