WHATAWHATA FUNCTION

FOR RED CROSS FUND A successful euchre and dance in aid of the Red Cross fund was held in the Wffiatawhata Hall on Wednesday night. The hall had been decorated with red, white and blue streamers, balloons and miniature flags. Music for dancing was supplied by Clarrie Cresswell’s Cotton Club Band. Euchre was won by Mrs Wills and Mr Lockhart, and Miss E. Stewart and Mr H. Dunn, and Miss B. Madill and Mr K. Martin were winners of novelty dances. Mr C. Yeoman was card steward and Mr D.
