SOCIAL NOTES
Mrs O. R. Farrer, Hamilton, is visiting Devonport, Auckland. Miss Kitty Templar, Hamilton, is the guest of Mrs F. Raven, Napier. Mrs H. Rolfe, Hamilton, who has been spending a holiday in Rotorua has returned home. Mrs J. Forrest, Hamilton, who has been the guest of Mrs A. Betteridge, Whakamara, has left to make her home in the South Island. Mrs T. Caffell, Rotorua, who has been visiting Hamilton as the guest of her mother, Mrs C. A. Hamerton, has returned to her home. Miss Ramai te Miha, who was chosen Queen to represent the Maori People in the carnival just concluded, plays a prominent role in the film “Rewi’s Last Stand.” Mesdames I. Allan, P. Jacomb, J. D. Morgart and Misses J. C. Allan, J. Hinton (Wellington) were at the Hamilton Hotel. They were associated with the Wool Councils “Fashions in Wool” display held in the Bledisloe Hall this week.
