Copyright) (Received July 3, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, July 2 Five persons were killed when enemy raiders crossed the British coast in daylight for the second successive evening. A high explosive bomb fell in the poorer quarter of a town in northwest England. In addition to the five people killed many were injured, including several children. Houses and a school were badly damaged. The military commander in West Sussex has ordered a continuous curfew henceforth along the beaches from Brighton to Worthington. The order automatically prohibits all bathing. Planes set fire to a British patrol boat on July 1 east of Torquay. Another attack was launched against the harbour of Wick, in North Scotland. During the night of July 1 our planes again attacked docks and harbours in the Bristol Channel. Fires and explosions were observed. During attacks by British planes on July 1 against north-west Germany bombs were dropped on Kiel, where there was little damage. A few civilians were killed. Five enemy planes were shot down.
