Glen, Greymouth, £SOO (duration and six months). Ashhurst-Pohangina Racing Club Ashhurst, £250 (duration and twelve months). Miss E. M. Cooper, Rotorua, £IOO (duration). Old-Age Pensioner’s Gift Mr Nash said a donation of £lO as a free gift to the Government had been received from two old-age pensioners of Christchurch. This old gentleman and his wife in their letter said: “We are only old-age pensioners. The amount is not much, but we hope you will consider it in the spirit in which- it is given, because we think everybody should do their utmost for our great little country.”
