WANGANUI MAORIS A UNANIMOUS DECISION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WANGANUI, Saturday That the Maoris of Wanganui support the Government’s defence policy, was a decision reached at a meeting of representatives of the Wanganui tribe in the Native Land Court, when the following resolution was unanimously carried and forwarded lo the Minister of Defence, ttie lion. F. Jones, by Mr T. W. Ratana, M.P.: "That the Wanganui tribe fully supports the Government's defence policy in Ihe present crisis, offers wholeheartedly the services of its people for active service, and strongly urges that, all Maoris serve iu a separate umL"
