The Earl of Harewood has given Harewood House in Yorkshire for Red Gross work. * * * * It is reported from Birmingham that the bonus on the earnings of general engineering employees has been increased. The bonus for employees of Imperial Chemical Industries has been raised from 6i per cent to 10 per cent. • • • • The Berlin radio station announced that German employers should apply to labour exchanges for prisoners who will be needed in industry.
