SUCCESSFUL EVENING

TAPAPA YOUNG PEOPLE’S CLUB Members of the Tapapa Young People’s Club and their friends spent a most enjoyable evening on Friday night, when dancing and cards were held in the Tapapa School, Okoroire. Dance music was supplied by Messrs J. Rogers, J. Parker, and the Three Musketeers Band. A novelty dance was won by Mrs E. Clarke and Mr S. Blake. Winners in the five hundred card tournament -were Mrs Ilagenson and Mr S. Blake. Among those present were:— Mesdames E. Clarke (Okoroire), Taylor, Houston, Rutlidge, Pullman, Parker, Taylor, Ilagenson, Fuller, Pevreal (Putaruru), Barker. Misses Grace Barker, Joan Pevreal, Flo Barker, Margaret Barker, Rona Harwood, Joan Barker, Phyllis Barker, Gladys Barker.
