INVESTMENTS ABROAD GERMAN NAZI LEADERS GREAT INTEREST AROUSED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Sept. 22, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 21 A vast amount of interest has been aroused by the publication in America of details of investments alleged to have been made by seven Nazi leaders. Hitler is reported to be the only one not to have invested large sums abroad. The names mentioned are Ribbentrop, Goebbels, Goerintg, Himmler, Hess, Streicher apd Ley. Information of the investments is reported to be from reliable sources. Cash, investments and insurances held in neutral countries are stated to be just on £7,000,000. Investments have been made in the following countries:—South America, Japan, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Holland, Egypt, Estonia, Latvia and Finland. Von Ribbentrop is alleged to have invested £633,000 in cash in Holland and Switzerland, beside insurances amounting to £1,250,000. Goebbels is alleged to have invested £927,000 in the Argentine, Luxembourg and Japan, and in addition is alleged to hold insurances. Goerihg is said to have investments and insurances abroad amounting to £1,500,000 and £715,000 respectively. Iless’ investments arc staled to be less than £500.000. Ley’s are reported as £378,000 and Himmler’s as about £500,000. Berlin accuses Dr. Benes of having brought millions to London from Prague.
