STRUCK BY A GIRDER
YOUNG SEAMAN'S DEATH (By Teleg-rapb.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Wednesday 1 A young seaman, A. McKenzie, died ' in the Hospital early this morning as i the result of head injuries sustained | when struck by a girder while working in No. 3 hold oil the Ilangitata about midnight. After attention by the ship's doctor lie was hoisted from the hold in a sling and taken to the hospital.
