OBITUARY
INBPECTOR OF SCHOOLS MR W. J. BODEN'S DEATH (By Telegraph —A«soelatlon) WANGANUI, Sunday The death occurred to-day of Mr W. J. Boden, senior inspector of schools for the Wanganui Education Board, after a brief illness. Born at Patumahoe in 1882, Mr Boden, after finishing his education at the Auckland University, entered the teaching profession, and held several appointments under the Auckland Education Board, amongst them the headmastership of the Taumarunui and Grey Lynn District High Schools. He was transferred to the Wanganui district two and a-half year* ago. In 1926. Mr Boden was promoted to inspector, and after seven year* in the Wellington district came to Auckland at ttie beginning of 1933. He was promoted to be senior inspector of schools at Nelson in 1935.
