CHALLENGE ACCEPTED
BOYCOTT OF HOTELS NO "NINE DAYS’ WONDER” (Special to Times) WELLINGTON, Friday Wellington watersiders held an informal meeting this morning and decided to accept the challenge of the Licensed Victuallers Association that the beer boycott would be a "nine days’ wonder” and that they would be back in the hotels after that period. It was decided to declare all hotels black until the price of beer was brought back to 4d a "handle". The motion was carried by an overwhelming majority of the 9UU present at the meeting.
