PRESENTATION DANCE On the occasion of their approaching marriage. Miss Edna Tyrrell and Mr Jack Fisher were tendered a gift evening in the Tirau Town Hall. The function was organised by members of the Patetere Football Club, and there was a large and representative attendance including visitors from Matamata, Te Poi, and Okoroire. Music was suplied by Mrs T. Cotter, and extras were given by Mrs C. Gardner. Mr F. Rose, on behalf of the Patetere Football Club, wished the guests every success in the future, and presented them with a dinner set. An electric iron from the Rangapai Tennis Club was presented by Mr T. Macken. Mr Fisher suitably returned thanks. Later in the evening Mr A. Andersen expressed the good wishes of those present, and asked the guests to accept the many gift parcels. Mr J. J. McGuire was the winner of a competition. Much credit is due to Mrs A. J. Neville and Miss Dagg and lady members of the committee, and the many willing helpers, for the successful organisation of the function.
