PACIFIC IBLANDB CRUIBE By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Tuesday The cancer Leander, with Commodore J. W. Ilivett-Carnac in command, left the Devonport naval base at 11.36 a.m. on a six week*’ cruise in the Pacific Islands. A small detachment of Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve officers and men is on board for training. The trrs*t port of call is suva. and later the cruiser visits Tonga, Cook Islands and the Society Group, returning to Auckland on August 11.
