FARMERS’ UNION DISCUSSION (Special to Times) MORRINSVILLE, Friday As an outcome of a discussion on the marketing of meat at the June meeting of the Morrinsville branch of the Farmers’ Union it was decided to invite Mr €. A. Moore, of East Tamaki, a member of the Auckland executive of tile union, to visit Morrinsville and give an address on matters of interest to farmers. Mr Moore has been a member of the special meat committee set up a year ago by the Auckland Provincial Conference of the Farmers’ Union to repo» t on the more economic disposal of meat by farmers. The report of this committee was discussed by the Morrinsville branch and deferred in the meantime. Mention was made of the success of the bobby calf pools, and the opinion was expressed that something on the same lines could be done for the sale of cull cows and pigs.
