HAMILTON PLUNKET SOCIETY Mrs Blornfield presided at the monthly meeting of the Hamilton branch of the Plunket Society at which nurses' reports for flic month ending May 31 were received as follows: Hamilton. —New cases, 31 ; breastfed, 2G; partially breast-fed, 4; artificially fed. 1; under weight, 2. Visits to homes, 25; visits to rooms, adults 250, babies 246, children 18, total 514; babies' under supervision, 169; children under supervision, 56. The attention of the committee was drawn to the Truby King memorial fund for which a public appeal is being made. Those who had received benefit from the society were invited to contribute. Mrs Blornfield reported having represented the district at the Founder's Day luncheon held in Auckland, when Dr. Pettitt addressed the gathering, relating some interesting incidents in the life of the late Sir Truby King. The committee placed on record its appreciation of help given by supporters at the recent Winter Show. The P-lunket room with a Karitane nurse in charge had been at the disposal of the public.
