TE AROHA BANK MANAGER After 42 years’ service with the Bank of Australasia, Mr U. G. l’awkner, manager of tlie Te Aroha branch, will retire on July Hi next. Mr Fawkner joined the bank in Bendigo and after five years in Australia, was transferred to New Zealand. Before being appointed manager of the Te Aroha branch nearly three years ago, he was manager of the Morrinsviile branch for 14 years. It is Mr Fawkner’s intention to take a prolonged holiday visit to Australia and to return to the Dominion to reside.

He will be succeeded in Te Aroha byMr 11. A. Findlay, who, twenty years ago, was a junior member of the staff when Mr Gordon Dransfield was manager.
