Mr E. Yailc, of Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Mr G. Skelton, of Auckland, is in Hamilton. Mr T. J. Fleming, of Auckland, is visiting Hamilton. Air J. D. Daveys, of Rotorua, is a visitor to Hamilton. Mr R. Worley, engineer to the Hamilton Borough Council, is to be invited to submit u report to the Whakatane Borough Council on future water supply development. Messrs R. M. Black, IL F. Wyatt, H. Morpeth. 11. Morris Auckland . R. Robinson, B. L. 11. de Rose and H. H. Higgins (Wellington) are at the Hamilton Hotel. Mr W. A. Phillips, chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-op-erative Pig Marketing Association, returned to Hamilton from Palmerston North this morning. The Director-General of Health. Dr. M. 11. Watt, returned to Wellington yesterday by the Tamaroa after nine months abroad travelling under a Rockefeller Institute grant. A former Otorohanga High School boy, Mr Basil Clausen, now with the J Pukekohe firm of Wilkinson and Campbell, has passed the examination for a pilot-officer in the Royal Air Force, England, and proposes to leave for the Homeland at an early date.
Mr George Isaac, a well-known business man of Otorohanga, has left for Palestine, where he proposes to look up relatives and friends. He expects to return before Christmas. He will travel by the Suez route, and will visit his birthplace, Biskinta, near Beyruth.
