The Governor-General. Lord Galway, left Auckland for Tauranga this afternoon on his way to Wellington.
Mr IL Kneebone, supervising foreman of the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company, left by the limited express for Palmerston North last night
Group-Captain H. W. L. Saunders, Chief of Air Staff, and SquadronLeader A. E. Gibson have returned to Auckland from a visit to the Pacific Islands.
Mr C. P. Harington, supervisor of the Waikato District Pig Council, left by the limited express for Palmerston North last night on New Zealand Pig Council business.
The Rev. E. O. Blamires, of Wellington and formerly of Hamilton, is in St. George’s Hospital. At the last luncheon of the Wellington Roll ary Club, the president expressed members’ sympathy with Mr Blamires.
Messrs 11. Hall, F. H. Ward, T. Gill, E. B. Brown (Auckland . J. Morgan, V. W. Raymond (Wellington’. R. Nickerson, J. McLeod. L. McLeod (Dannevirke; , A. Barnett (New Plymouth) and H. E. Lewis (Dunedin) are at the Hamilton Hotel.
