The Hon. P. Fraser, Minister of Education, will visit the Waikato next Saturday to open the new native school at Rakaumanga, near Huntly.

Messrs F. B. Shortt, A. Jackson, C. G. Swallow 1 (Auckland), G. Hutchen (Wellington) and G. Gibson (New Plymouth) are at the Hamilton Hotel.

Sir Harry Twvford. lately Lord Mayor of London, who recently spent several weeks in New Zealand after an absence of more than 30 years, is a through passenger from Sydney by the Aorangi which left Auckland this morning for Vancouver.

Advice that the Prime Minister, the Right Hon. M. J. Savage, would make further visits to Auckland factories on April 24 and 26 was received from the Department of Industries and Commerce at a meeting of the Auckland Manufacturers* Association yesterday.
