RECORD BUSINESS

A.M.P. SOCIETY The following cablegram from the head office in Sydney has been received by Mr W. T. I kin, manager in New Zealand for the Australian Mutual Provident Society: “Total new business in the ordinary department amonnted to £22.220,035 for 1038; industrial department. £6.875.648: aggregate total. £29.104.683, this being the largest in the history of the society, with the exception of the record total of £31,727,699 written m the year 1937. Of the total business completed in 1938 over £28,500.000 was written in Australia and New Zealand.”
