BROKERS’ ADVICE Wright, Stephenson and Company, Limited, and Abraham and Williams, Limited, have received the following cable advice from ti*eir London house regarding the London wool sales:— “The sales continued before a large attendance of buyers. The market continues active and competition is good, with Continental and Bradford buyers the chief operators. The selection of wools was good. We quote the following average realisation,s: —• Greasy Merino. 60-64, yielding 48 per cent. 10d pgr lb; fine halfbred 56-58, yielding 62 per cent, lO£d; halfbred 50-56 yielding 63 per cent, lOd; threequarterbred 48-50 yielding 74 per cent. 9Jd; fine crossbred 46-48 yielding 75 per cent. 9ld: medium crossbred 44-46 yielding 75 per cent. 9fd; crossbred 40-44 yielding 76 per cent, 9|d: coarse crossbred. 36-40 yielding 76 per cent. 9|d: crossbred lambs 46-50 yielding 74 per cent. 9£d. All prices are slightly in favour of buyers, on Fe&cuary 3.
