WAIPA GUN CLUB
REVIEW OF PAST SEASON (Special to Time?) TE AWVMUTC, Thursday. A successful year was reviewed at the annual meefina” of the alpa Gun Club. Mr W 11. Parish presided. During the year a new shed had been built and a new trap purchased. The club held eight shoots during the season and competed lor cups presented by Messrs W. H. Parish, L Marsh and J. Tollch. Competitions had been held lor a trophy presented by the late Mr Baddily and for two medals purchased by the club. Arrangements were made to hold shoots each second Saturday commencing on February 11. It was decided to build a concrete trap house Tor the saTety or the trappers. The Returned Soldiers’ Association was given permission to use tlie club’s grounds for their shoot on January 28. The election or officers resulted:—President, Mr W. H. Parish; secretary, Mr K. Sager; treasurer, Mr 11. Steer; referee. Mr L. Zimmemiln; handicapper, Mr T. Hall; committee. Messrs L. Zlmmermln, L. Marsh, T. Hall, R. Horne. T. Mulgrew. Mr L. Marsh, the present holder of the Daysdale Cup. offered to return lt to the club for competition and was thanked for hie‘generosity.
