FRIENDS ANXIOUS (By Telegraph.—Press Associationi TAURANGA, Saturday The friends of Miss Phoebe Stone (25), of Auckland, are anxious as they have not heard of her since she left the Tauranga railway station a day or so ago. Miss Stone came over from ihe Mount with a party of friends from Auckland and all came to Tauranga for Miss Slnno l*» catch the 11 a.rn. train. As she missed this her friends left Miss Stone at the station to catch the 2 p.m. train, and they have not heard of her since. A telegram elicited the information that she lias not returned to Auckland, so anxiety is felt. As it is holiday time however, it is possible she has broken her journey to stay with other friends.
