FELL FROM LADDER

CARPENTER INJURED IN SERIOUS CONDITION Fairly serious injuries involving concussion and probable fractured ribs were received by Mr Frederick Leonard Curtis (38), a carpenter, of Hamilton, when lie fell from a ladder this morning. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital immediately and late this afternoon he had failed to regain consciousness. The accident occurred shortly before 10.30 o’clock when Mr Curtis was working on the premises of Messrs D. McL. Wallace, Collingwood Street. He was on a ladder, several feet from the floor level, when he slipped from a rung and fell heavily to the floor. The injured man is employed by Mr 11. Beebe, of Hamilton.
