PRICES IN HAMILTON RECORD DEMAND EXPERIENCED Poultry has reached the highest price since the depression, according to a Hamilton retailer approached morning. The new rates have been ruling for about two months, but it is anticipated that after the new year "a normal level will be reached wfien the supply will be greater. However, in spite of the advanced rates the demand in Hamilton over Christmas was extraordinary and retailers report a record turnover. It was authoritatively stated that no dealer in poultry in Hamilton could fulfil the orders.
