CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION NOTABLE DISPLAY PLANNED (By Telegrapn—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Thursday To mark the Centennial period the trustees of the National Art Gallery and Dominion Museum, Wellington, have decided to arrange a notable exhibition of contemporary English and Continental art. In order to make arrangements Mrs Murray Fuller will leave for England by the* Akaroa to-morrow. About 700 paintings are likely to be assembled for the collection. This will be the largest ever brought to New Zealand and also the first international collection to be exhibited in Wellington.
