Mr P. C. Savage was elected chairman of Mr W. B. Colbeck, vicechairman. of the Auckland Stock Exchange at the annual meeting jto-day.
Investment Year “This year has "been a particularly difficult one for trading, a year in which hopes have failed to materialise/’ said Mr H. Kitson, chairman of the Christchurch Stock Exchange, in his address at the annual meeting on Monday. “Upward trends have been short-lived and have been checked by sudden alarms.”
